Get started with Goomzo
From a new account to your first SMS, in five steps.
This guide takes you from signing up to sending your first SMS. Most of it takes a few minutes; business verification and your sender ID wait on a review, and you can send in the meantime.
Create your account
Sign up at app.goomzo.africa with your name, email, a Tanzanian phone number and a password, or choose Sign up with Google. Confirm your email from the link we send you.
Goomzo creates your first organization, named Hobby. Rename it in Settings → General.
Verify your business
In Settings → General, under Compliance, add your business name and upload its TIN or BRELA certificate. We review it and email you when you're verified. Learn more.
Request a sender ID
A sender ID is the name your texts show, such as DUKA AMINA. Once you're verified, request one in
Engagement → Sender IDs. Until it's approved, texts go out under Goomzo's. Learn more.
Buy SMS
Top up your wallet by mobile money or card in Billing → Overview → Top up, then pick an SMS package in Engagement → Subscriptions. Learn more.
Add customers and send
In Customers → All customers, add customers one by one or import a CSV file. Then send a message to one of them, or a broadcast to everyone.
